Petrowell was founded in 2001, initially providing rapid response engineering and manufacturing services to the oil and gas industry. Since 2003, the company has specialised in the design, engineering, manufacturing and testing of some of the industry’s most innovative and reliable oil and gas completion tools. Having a strong core of expertise in a number of specialist areas, Petrowell has gained a reputation for its pioneering and high-quality products.

Petrowell are very much a technology based company, focusing on the use and development of this technology throughout the growing market. By working with a select number of the major operators and NOC’s, Petrowell develop equipment to address specific issues that clients may have. The developed product is then taken to the broader market.

2010 will see the expansion of Petrowell’s product portfolio to include advanced completion systems, the result of client focused product development. The advanced completion systems allow the operator to deploy an open hole completion with well integrity issues addressed, without washpipe and with full circulation capability. The adaptive systems can be applied to producer as well as injector wells and address various requirements including stimulation (Frac operations can be carried out without intervention, a unique position in the industry), fluids management, staged cleanup and zonal isolation. Petrowell’s system solutions can be tailored to suit specific well requirements to deliver numerous functional benefits with real CAPEX and OPEX savings and offer a true life of well concept.
